You can choose your way to get to Westman Islands. Here are four ways to choose from and some details.
Ferry
The easiest and the cheapest way to get to Westman Islands ( Vestmannaeyjar) is with the ferry Herjólfur.
During the summer and often in the winter it runs from the harbour Landeyjahöfn and it only takes about 35 minutes to sail across.
During the winter it is more likely to run from Þorlákshöfn harbour and then the sailing time is about 2:45 hours.
Eagle Air
Eagle Air flies daily to Vestmannaeyjar. They fly from Reykjavík and the flight takes about 25 minutes. It is usually early in the morning and around 16.00 pm.

Atlantsflug
Atlantsflug flies from the south coast of Iceland near Landeyjahöfn.
It only takes about 7 minutes to fly over to Vestmannaeyjar from that small airport.
