We start the tour on the harbor and walk to Skansinn and there we walk over the new lava from 1973. A local guide tells you about the eruption, the story when the people had to leave their home in one night. We walk on the edge of the lava where there is a great view over the town. From there we will go up the Volcano that is not a very difficult hike.
